Dream Reading

Not the reading of dreams, but last night, like other nights before, I dreamt I was reading, or at least trying to read.  But, like every dream of reading before, I never manage to decipher what is on the page.  Why is this? In my dreams it frustrates me as often it seems so important at the time.

It seems that I am not the only one to have found this and a Google search reveals lots of links on the subject.
