Brexit Advantages

I have had enough of sad remoaners doing Brexit and the UK down. I admit I voted to remain but the Brexiteers had it right all along and hand on heart can say life is better since I properly embraced Brexit:

  1. Petrol stations have never run out and the service has improved.
  2. Fuel prices have not increased. My heating and electricity bill has gone down and now I get the free summertime all you can use hot water allowance.
  3. Supermarkets are always fully stocked, with plenty of choices, and much better and friendlier service.
  4. Health care has massively improved. A cyst I need removed was operated on immediately and free of charge by my local doctor's surgery. I did not even have to make an appointment! An ultrasound I needed was arranged in a matter of days.
  5. Shipping to EU countries is no more difficult than it use to be. No paperwork! No tariffs! No hassle!
  6. My first Covid vaccine was a little delayed but, everything is running really smoothly and I have had my booster.
  7. I am not so fussed about foreign holidays anymore, I'd rather stay home and enjoy all the sunshine and the glorious beaches.
  8. Is it me or have trade people upped their game since 2016? I have had fantastic plumbers, electricians, kitchen fitters, and builders - fair prices and excellent workmanship.
  9. I can now afford restaurants more often. Prices have halved since Brexit. A decent 2-course meal with my partner with two bottles of wine for between £20 to £30.
  10. Low-cost alcohol. I can now buy a decent bottle of wine for £1.50
  11. I have not seen all these traffic queues around Dover, I haven't seen a single traffic jam since Brexit.
I took the Brexiteers' advice and am grateful I did. "Leave means Leave", and "If you love the EU so much why don't you f*** off and live there".
